Wu-Tang Blue Dragon Guide

My Wu Tan Build is a strong character build I think everyone can find useful to know. So the trick is 2 points to dex per level and then 1 to cons and 1 to str.

The secret to the stats in combination:

Dexterity = Makes it harder for you to get hit, and gives you critical hits
Strength = Higher Defence for when you get hit and, higher attack damage make sure your max attack damage is high enough for your skills max damage and swords max damage.
Consitution: Your Health and your health regen rate.

Strength with Dexterity is a very powerful ally, but I reccomend having a decent amount of constitution as well.

Reccomendation for essence points, put points in sometimes at low levels but focus only on essence till maxmimum 20. I reccomend using elixers. Once you join Blue Dragon your Essence will drop a few levels so I reccomend maxing out elixers on your essence as well as some vitality boosting stats such as Frozen Tiger Ring. (Scroll quest for RC2 group of 3)


Which Sword style should I stick with Cloud swords or Wind Swords

Personally I find cloud swords to my liking with the bleeding damages but the stats on this style do alot less damage. Personally if you want to be a very powerful fighter its best to Master all sword stances and skills. Meaning you should try and get cheing 5 on all cloud sword stances and then switch to the highest Wind Stance which is "Double Shape Sword" from there take you pick of sword stances I like to go with this build of attacks on my hotbar. These attacks slow you down hit you with a powerful critical, or reduce attack rating which believe it or not in pvp makes the decision between the victor and the loser, and a personal favorite Bleeding. I reccomend focusing on any attack with high damage or the ability to reduce stats or add hp reducs like bleeding. With a build as I reccomended and a attack rating decrease debuff attack your looking at winning duels very easily with even just that.

i am a new blue dragon i have burned through the game and i am on rev chakra 4 i have invested alot of stats in con and str some dex and hardly any vit what are your stats and should my dex be as high as my str or higher

hey, im white tiger, but am i able to get better sword skills other than basic wu-tang swords??

believe it or not the basic wu tang sword is actually pretty good

it beats blue dragon and swords of the elements and as long as you have it high cheng it can beat the higher sword stance such as 4 aspects

It has been recommended to have an almost pure strength build for white tiger hybid and healers and use basic wutang sword. It does seem to be working well and is very efficent for PvE grind leveling (I am mid FD now).

Con 12-15, Ess 12-15, Wis 8-10, Dex - based on level, everything else strength. Warriors can leave ess and wis at 8, and keep con below 20.
Minimum Dex per level:RC1 (50) RL1 (60) FD1 (70) SM1 (80) GB1 (110) EC1(130) - note you hit 250 max strength in low-mid SM levels.

You want clothes and accessories to boost your health and essence and save attributes for strength because it reduces the damage you take and increases the damage you do. Also train your buffs to max ASAP.

The drawback is with low dex and no smashes trained up yet, it is weak in PvP.

I'm wondering if I should re-stat yet again..... My current set-up of stats is this:
Str-81
Ess-30
Wis-8
Con-54
Dex-47
I'm at RC9 atm.... I think I should re-stat or focus more on Dex... I don't think my Relic (+4 to Str/con) is on because of 0/0 karma .. lol... and none of my clothes give me any stat bonus. I think my sword only does life and VE bonus... But that is where I'm sitting... I do ok against yellow/orange mobs... Tell me where I'm going wrong.. lol.... I think I have 1153 VE and like 2450 life

im also a blue dragon as well, so far my character build works superbly fine for me especially if its 1vs1 or 1vs3 at most my build actually is 50/50 str and dex and im rl 7 now
so its 129 str 129 dex

can anyone tell me how they feel about my build? good? bad? neither? lol oh and btw i rely only on equips and accessories for my hp/vitality so i only have 1050 hp and 360 vital w/o buffs XDDDDDDDDD

I general - high dex seems great at RL and then starts to deterioraite through FD. At that point you will probably regret not leaving your dex below 100 and maxing your srength.

My recomendation would be to just add Str until rl12, then use your restat and restat with as low as 70-75 dex (100 max) and very high str. Go to the main 9dragons web site in the guides section and read the "practical guide for healer/hybrid/warrior" to understand why strength is far more important than dex. Also note that the nature of the game will change when you get to high FD/SM and that is when dex build start to falter.

okay ill try that as soon as i get my next restat... errr which is at what lvl a again? and btw is it still okay to just focus on str and dex?

If you read the lentz guide on the main site, he just has con,ess,wis as necessary for relics (like 8-12 each) and dex minimum required for weapon of your level (maybe up to 10 higher than minimum, especially for axe/spear).
Lentz even took a warrior to GB1 with 8 in con,wis,ess just to prove it does work.


Since this is your first character you may want higher con (like 20-30) so you can survive suprises as you learn.

For the weapons we should aim for clothes with extra HP and Essences right?

Does anyone have a list of some good such clothes to have and if possible their price? I'm on the bardo server by the way. Recently just picked up a karma relic that gives +4 strength and essence and increased critical rate.
